My name is Kathleen and I am a Seattle based LMT, Structural Integrator and Soma practitioner. I practice a style of bodywork that addresses the fascial system. It’s benefits are many but some of the most immediate are a deeper awareness, a feeling of lightness and a reduction of pain.

If you are a person who experiences gravity you might benefit from this work. I was introduced to it after a long career in hospitality and multiple injuries left me searching for a more holistic way to realigning myself.

I had found yoga many years before and that movement served as a way to express, center and heal myself, bodywork feels like an extension of that.

Helping you better communicate with gravity.

What is fascia and why does it matter?

Fascia is a web of connective tissue below the skin that connects everything to everything. It incases every muscle fiber and continuously hugs your bones and your organs in one intricate system from head to toe.

Your fascial system not only supports tissues and organs aiding your blood stream on a micro level, it has influence on a macro level as well. Healthy, smooth and slippery fascia lessens friction and eases muscle tension. When compromised it can become thick, sticky or tight in areas as we move through life and experience gravity. Repetitive stress, injuries and trauma are the leading causes of impeded tissue and because we are talking about a web that supports our entire being, when one area is affected the entire system can experience this tension.

It’s not how deep you go, It’s how you go deep.”
